"You can't face each day with the belief that it will be your last," Meere chuckled, "that will just get you depressed and more irritable than normal." He always had a way of being absolutely calm; a composure beyond patience; a wisdom beyond his years. "In my experience," he continued, "you just have to face each day. There will be ups, and there will be downs, and there will be attacks, and there will be celebrations," within a pause his peaceful smile reached to Lye sitting across the way, "and sometimes your Brother will bring a giant python home." Of course the wild child returned his twin's smile with a grin, leaning in to listen to his younger sibling calm the trembling Rin. "There will be good days and bad days, and today was certainly not the best of days. But, Rin, you have to understand than since you've arrived, our days have been so much brighter." Rin could only lower her gaze, skeptical of any positive contribution brought by her presence. Meere altered the conversation, pressing his careful touch across the girl's titian locks before kneeling to her level before revealing his scheme with a question "You say you can bring the stars back?" Rin gave a little nod and whispered a "at least I'd like to..." "Well then." Meere said abruptly, a smile stretching across Lye's face as his twin's plan surged into his own mind, "I like that idea. Let's do it. Let's count the stars. Together."
