"What people don't seem to understand," Rin barked, "is that just because You believe in something doesn't make it any easier! look at me! Look what good it has done me!" The Titian girl had never looked more broken as the rebels lowered their heads, unused to the patient,shy, protector speaking up so viscously. "You each thought me a monster when I arrived. I thought the same." She continued, "to this day I still look in the mirror and wonder why in heavens name am I even here? What purpose is some weakling who's all alone when it comes to looking for the bright side ever going to achieve!" Again came a silence. The only thing heard was Rin's labored breath as she made way to calm her tensing hands. Never had she shown this dark side, never had she let the pain that builds up every day slip. How were they to know? The seconds passed like the clouds; seeming never to end until finally she spoke once more, "And it is only then, when you too have reached the bottom of the barrel, that you'll realize why I take the shamed route of believing in something bigger than me." There came a breath of relief as understanding swept the room.
